How You Can Get Involved with rtv5 (click to see more)
- We'll Film It
Are you putting on an event, or do you know of something happening that would be cool to have on tv? Let us know. If it's in or near the RMC, we can show it live and record it to tape; if it's anywhere else on campus, we can record it, edit it, and have it up on the air. If you're involved with the event, let us know and we'll give you a free dvd. Interested? Click here to put in a filming request.
- You Can Film It
We have little cameras that are easy to use, and we're happy to lend them out. Want to film your own event, or just have a video camera on hand for it? Want a DVD? Rent our camera! Sometimes this option is good if our busy rtv5 members can't make it to film themselves. Click here to request a camera.
- Make Your Own Show
Have an idea for a show? We'll help you make it happen. We have the equipment, the know-how, and the distribution. Come to a meeting and you'll be hooked.
- rtv5 meets every Tuesday evening at 9:00 in the Meyer Conference Room of the RMC. We talk about equipment, production schedules, show ideas, and advertising, so if you like any of these things you should probably come out and see what we do firsthand.
- The Meyer Conference Room is located at the far end of the RMC, by the information desk.

- If you want to come to a taping, you should join our listserv (see below) or come to a meeting (see above) so you know when a filming is. There's always lots of work to do at filmings (especially live ones) so if you want to get your hands dirty, here's a perfect opportunity.

- We use the listserv mainly for announcements, and for discussions about filming and meeting times. Subscribe if you want to be in the loop about the latest rtv5 happenings.

- We hear that this facebook thing is pretty popular, so we're on there now too. Members of our group get messages about when new shows come out and things like that. If you want to follow rtv5 but don't want to know about behind-the-scenes stuff this is for you.
